OwlOps Consulting LLC is committed to making owlopsconsulting.com accessible to people with disabilities. We are continually improving the experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards as we do.
01Our commitment
Accessibility isn't a feature we added to this site; it's part of how we think about clear communication. Business leaders who are blind, have low vision, have limited mobility, are Deaf or hard of hearing, or have cognitive differences should be able to learn what we do and get in touch with the same ease as anyone else.
We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time checkbox. As the site evolves, we test new pages and content against the standard described below.
02The standard we follow
WCAG 2.1, Level AA
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define how to make web content more accessible. Level AA is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidance and most international regulations.
We aim for this site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that most of the content meets the standard, and we've documented the exceptions we know about in Section 4. We chose that wording deliberately; no site is perfect, and we'd rather be honest about where we stand.
03What we've done
Measures built into the design and development of this site include:
04Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We're aware of the following and are working on them:
05Third-party content
Some content on this site is provided by third parties, such as embedded scheduling tools, social media links, and video players. We don't control these services and can't guarantee their accessibility. When we choose tools, accessibility is one of the criteria, and we'll always offer an alternative way to accomplish the same task when you contact us.
06Adjusting your experience
Your device and browser already include tools that can make this site easier to use:
- Zoom in with Ctrl + + (Windows) or ⌘ + + (Mac). The site is built to work at 200% and beyond.
- Use reader mode in Safari, Firefox, or Edge to strip the page down to text for articles.
- Turn on a screen reader such as VoiceOver (Apple), Narrator (Windows), NVDA, or JAWS. This site is tested with VoiceOver and NVDA.
- Reduce motion in your operating system's accessibility settings; the site will respect it automatically.
- Increase contrast or invert colors using your system's display settings; our layouts remain legible under these modes.
The W3C's "Better Web Browsing" guide covers these options in more detail for every major platform.
07Report a barrier
If you have trouble accessing any part of this site, or you have a suggestion for how we could do better, we'd like to hear from you. Please tell us the page address, what went wrong, and what assistive technology or browser you were using so we can reproduce it.
